Competition no. PLL / 2022/03 for computational grants on the LUMI supercomputer for scientists from Poland
ACC Cyfronet AGH announces a competition for access to CPU and GPU resources on the LUMI supercomputer for Polish researchers.
The LUMI supercomputer is one of the fastest computing machines in the world and offers a theoretical computing speed of 552 PetaFlop/s (552 * 1015 floating point operations per second). It is the result of cooperation within the LUMI Consortium, which includes 10 European countries, led by Finland. As a consortium member, Poland has the right to use supercomputer resources through computational and test grants used for research and development purposes. Detailed information on the LUMI supercomputer can be found at https://www.lumi-supercomputer.eu/.
Application for the competition
Applications will be accepted in English only. You can apply by using an application form available at: https://portal.plgrid.pl in the 'LUMI Grants/Projects' ('Granty/Projekty LUMI') tab. Please fill in the form and send it in PDF format, according to the instruction. A PLGrid account with active affiliation is necessary to prepare the application.
The rules and regulations of the competition are available (in Polish) at www. cyfronet.pl/lumi.
