Contest results
On 20.11.2023, during the Cyfronet Open Day, the contest for the best PhD thesis conducted with the help Cyfronet computing resources was decided.
The list of winners in the Contest (2023 edition) is as follows:
- 1st prize – Karol Capała, PhD for the thesis: "Anomalous stochastic dynamics in the underdamped regime",
- 2nd prize – Przemysław Zaręba, PhD Eng. for the thesis: "Synthesis, properties and conformational analysis of new N-hexylarylpiperazines as ligands for aminergic receptors",
- distinction – Sylwia Gutowska, PhD Eng. for the thesis: “Study of the electron structure, electron-phonon interaction and superconductivity of materials containing heavy elements",
- distinction – Tomasz Skóra, PhD for the thesis: “Diffusion and reactions under crowding: Theory and simulations".
