Initiatives

ACC Cyfronet AGH is a part of many projects coordinated or supported by EuroHPC JU, giving Polish researchers and entrepreneurs the possibility to benefit from their outcomes.

PLGrid is a state-of-the-art computing infrastructure coordinated by ACC Cyfronet AGH, developed to support Poland’s science, economy, and public administration sectors.

ACC Cyfronet AGH, along with five partners, is implementing a unique project that has resulted in the establishment of the Center for Personalized Computational Medicine in Krakow. The mission of SANO is to develop medical technologies, implement innovations, and educate in the field of personalized medicine.

ACC Cyfronet AGH actively participates in the development of two Polish Large Language Models (LLMs): Bielik and PLLuM (HIVE AI).

ACC Cyfronet AGH has been for many years involved in a series of projects that build EPOS, with a particular focus on activities within the thematic core of anthropogenic threats.

ACC Cyfronet AGH is part of consortia such as the Virgo Project and CTAO.

As part of Open Science, ACC Cyfronet AGH participates in initiatives such as EOSC and RODBUK.

As part of the Polish Map of Research Infrastructures, ACC Cyfronet AGH is the coordinator of the PLGrid consortium: the National Supercomputing Infrastructure for EuroHPC and the PLGrid National Cloud Infrastructure for EOSC.
