DT-GEO is an interdisciplinary digital twin for modeling and simulating complex phenomena in research infrastructure environments. The project aims to implement a prototype of a so-called Digital Twin (DT) for researching extreme geophysical conditions, such as those related to volcanoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, and human activity. The project also includes preparing the appropriate infrastructure - supercomputers and metadata developed in accordance with FAIR principles.
The role of ACC Cyfronet AGH in the project is to develop the Digital Twin component related to human activity, with particular emphasis on long-term forecasting.
In this video, Joanna Kocot from ACC Cyfronet AGH presents the project's assumptions and the role Cyfronet played in its implementation.
