Michał Parniak-Niedojadło, PhD DSc, head of the Center for Optical Quantum Technologies and assistant professor at the Department of Optics at the Institute of Experimental Physics of the University of Warsaw, together with his team, has developed the fastest and most capacious quantum memory in the world.
Thanks to the scientists' achievement, it is possible to store and process a record number of photons, which is groundbreaking in quantum communication and the use of this technology in the future.
Dr. hab. Parniak-Niedojadło is an active user of the PLGrid infrastructure and uses the power of supercomputers for his research.
More details in the press release of the University of Warsaw and in the interview with Maciej Kawecki.
Congratulations!
