On 7-9 October 2026, the fifth edition of the EPICURE Hackathon: Code Optimisation for HPC and AI Workloads will take place at ACC Cyfronet AGH in Kraków, Poland, and online.
As a partner of the EPICURE project, ACC Cyfronet AGH invites research teams, software developers, HPC specialists, and AI practitioners to join this unique event focused on the practical optimisation of code for Europe's most advanced computing infrastructures.
Do you have a scientific application, simulation code, AI model, or workflow that needs better performance? Don't hesitate, join us!
During the hackathon, participants will have the opportunity to:
- analyse the performance of their applications,
- identify computational, memory, and communication bottlenecks,
- optimise applications for CPU, GPU, and multi-node environments,
- improve AI training and inference workflows,
- receive guidance and support from experienced HPC and AI experts from across Europe.
This is not just another hackathon. It is three days of intensive work on your own code, real technical challenges, and practical improvements that can continue to be developed long after the event ends.
Importantly, collaboration with mentors begins even before the hackathon through an online kick-off session, where participants and mentors will jointly define technical objectives and an action plan.
