- Aim:
- The KMD4EOSC project will design, build and implement: infrastructure, services and applications for the storage and collection of scientific and business-related data, as well as their processing and analysis. This data wil be made available effectively and with compliant with good practices and requirements and regulations - for the needs of the scientific community and the economy. The main objective of the project is to lay the foundation for a national repository of open scientific data in accordance with the requirements of the European Commission and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The goals of the project include providing the ability to securely store data for the long term, as well as to use this data through access, analysis and processing. ACC Cyfronet AGH is responsible for the construction of data storage infrastructure based on HDD and Flash disk systems, as well as development work in the field of data repositories, implementation of SYNC & SHARE type solutions, integration of object-oriented data storage systems, among others. Cyfronet's work is carried out in Laboratories 1, 2, 3 and 4.
