Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO) is an international research infrastructure operating under the legal framework of a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC). Its mission is to build and operate the first open, ground‑based observatory for very‑high‑energy (VHE) gamma‑ray astronomy, enabling breakthrough research in astrophysics, particle physics, and fundamental physics. CTAO was established as an ERIC by the European Commission on 7 January 2025. Poland is one of the nine founding members of CTAO‑ERIC.
The role of ACC Cyfronet AGH is to design and coordinate the development of the Science Portal within the SUSS group, as well as to support the creation of SUSS services used in this portal.
