- Aim:
- The LUMI AI Factory (LAIF) project aims to provide a supercomputing service infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI), along with an open AI ecosystem built around the LUMI AI supercomputer. The LUMI AI supercomputer is the next stage in the development of the EuroHPC supercomputer ecosystem. Its construction will allow for a smooth transition in the provision of computing services from the current LUMI computer. Activities within the LAIF will be open to both public users and entrepreneurs, with particular attention paid to the needs of startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

- Cyfronet is involved in all project tasks. The main work will focus on training, adapting AI software to the LUMI supercomputer, integrating data and services with the LUMI AI supercomputer infrastructure.
