- Aim:
- The main aim of the FINDR project was to deliver transparent and unified access to Earth Observation Data, primarily satellite data, in order to support food production and the food and agriculture industry. The most important assumptions included:
- creating an integrated and transparent overview of the data from the main Earth observation systems, in order to allow faster decision making,
- ensuring accurate short-term forecasts regarding the availability of satellite data, which would allow taking the proper actions in case of missing regions by the use of alternative data sources,
- collision-free integration of satellite data from various sources, giving the possibility to time-space complement of existing and future products.
