EuroHPC is a joint venture of European countries and the European Commission (EuroHPC JU), aimed at building exascale computing infrastructure in Europe.
As part of this project, a network of National EuroHPC Competence Centres is established, whose primary task is to support scientific research in the industry by collaborating with researchers from the academic community and utilizing computing resources provided by EuroHPC supercomputers.
The mission of EuroCC 2 is to continue developing a network of National Competence Centers (NCCs) across Europe. The primary objective is to enhance cooperation and exchange of best practices and knowledge at the European level, thereby accelerating the improvement of national and, consequently, European HPC service delivery capabilities. National Competence Centers provide services to users from industry, academia, and public administration.
ACC Cyfronet AGH is a leader of the Polish NCC. We coordinate the project and develop it based on the partners of the PLGrid Consortium (ICM, PSNC, WCSS, CI TASK, NCBJ). In the video, the project is introduced by Marta Maj and dr Klemens Noga. For more information, please visit the NCC website.
