The main goal of the training is to bring new tools into the hands of the users. While we do not provide a GUI access to the login node, there are several tools that allow some visual feedback or at least prettify the interface. These include Visual Studio Code, JupyterHub and our own application - pro-viz. For most users, there is a jump from Windows' mouse-focused GUI to the keyboard-focused CLI of Linux.
