# Cyfronet and Gaia AI Factory in the spotlight

The necessity of developing Polish supercomputing infrastructure, training personnel, and ensuring companies have access to Polish AI solutions was discussed by Marek Magryś, Director of ACC Cyfronet AGH, in an interview with *Dziennik Polski*.

The statement not only presents the main assumptions behind the construction of the Gaia Artificial Intelligence Factory in Krakow but also broadly outlines the technological, social, and economic background for the development of such initiatives in Poland and Europe.

> AI Factories are Europe's response to the technological race. They are ecosystems built around public supercomputers of the EuroHPC network, combining three pillars of innovation: computing power, data, and talent.
