The allocation of grants for LUMI will be made via the [Portalu PLGrid](https://portal.plgrid.pl/). The LUMI supercomputer is one of the fastest computing machines in the world and offers a computing speed of 552 PetaFlop/s (552 \* 10^15 floating-point operations per second). It is the result of cooperation between the LUMI consortium, which includes 11 European countries led by Finland. Detailed information can be found on the [LUMI supercomputer](https://www.lumi-supercomputer.eu/) website. ## How to apply? Competition entries will only be accepted in English. Applications for a computational grant can be submitted via the PLGrid Portal, using a prepared application form available in the [grant system](https://portal.plgrid.pl/). To submit an application, you must have an account and active affiliation of a academic unit/scitntific institution employee on the PLGrid Portal.
