# Tomasz Skóra, PhD

"Although scientific progress relies more on ideas than tools, it must be acknowledged that supercomputers are an indispensable instrument – especially in fields like mine – without which research would have to be conducted in a much more limited way. Thanks to access to the PLGrid infrastructure, I was able to ask far more challenging research questions and avoid compromising on the quality of the computations.”
