"Let’s be blunt: without the ACC Cyfronet AGH infrastructure, this PhD simply would never have happened. The simulations I conducted have a massive appetite for computing power. (…) On top of that, I ran hundreds of preliminary simulations while fine-tuning the computational model. (…) If I had tried to run these same models on a high-end home workstation, I would have been waiting weeks for just a single result.”
