## Introduction

ACC Cyfronet AGH has been organizing the HPC Users' Conference since 2008. Its basic assumption was to initiate annual scientific meetings gathering users who perform calculations using high-performance computers and software provided by Cyfronet.

The topics of the KU KDM focus on large-scale calculations and simulations, new algorithms in computer science, tools and techniques in high-performance computing systems, as well as artificial intelligence methods and analysis of large data sets. The conference includes presentations of Cyfronet resources' users and invited guests, discussion sessions and meetings with suppliers of computer equipment and software, as well as a panel discussion on the effective use of Cyfronet's computer resources.

This year's edition gained a changed formula compared to previous years, offering participants extended opportunities to improve the use of supercomputers in scientific research during group training and individual consultations with the PLGrid support team. The new possibilities of using European supercomputers by Polish SMEs and startups were also presented.
